You are not alone. I’ve been struggling a lot with my own mental health…Depression, suicide, probably bipolarism. It can be so hard some days. I’ll just lie in bed too, feeling totally and completely useless to the world, to the people around me. I’d sleep it off, making the day go by quicker.
But if there’s something I can say positively, you’re currently blessed with a supportive significant other. Don’t forget that and don’t lose sight of it. He was willing to hear you out, you must continually practice sharing your emotions with him calmly. I’ve learned to do this too with my SO. I was really secretive and reserved, but I’ve slowly opened up to him and it’s been pretty great.
